| Elizabeth Amelia Allen, daughter of Joseph Allen & Amelia Overton was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire in 1840. Her father Joseph married Frances Garnish in 1853 after the death of Elizabeth's mother Amelia Allen in 1852. The combined families then emigrated to Western Australia where Elizabeth Allen married Edward Thomas Pomeroy Troode. |
